To start your installation, you will need to: have a Wi-Fi connection via your Internet router have an iPhone or iPad with one of the two latest iOS versions or a smartphone which is compatible with Android 5.0 minimum install the Smarther with Netatmo connected thermostat download the free Home + Control App which will enable you to configure and control your thermostat.
MyHOMEserver1 is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google assistant, Classe 300EOS with Netatmo is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google assistant and Apple HomeKit (just for the smart home features)
The connected thermostat cannot access the Internet via a public Wi-Fi network (hot-spot) or via a company Wi-Fi network, and these networks are therefore not suggested. If your personal Wi-Fi network does not appear in the list of Wi-Fi networks suggested, first check that your smartphone is within range of the Wi-Fi network, and move closer to the Internet router if this is not the case. If your Wi-Fi network still does not appear in the list of available networks, it is probably because it is hidden: manually enter your network's SSID (name). In case your connected thermostat cannot reach the Wi-Fi signal because he is too far away from your Wi-Fi router, try to install a Wi-Fi repeater in order to increase the Wi-Fi range of your router. You can also try to bring your Wi-Fi router closer to your connected thermostat, if that is possible.
You can have up to 10 thermostats in your installation. With each thermostat, you can associate up to 20 Netatmo Smart Radiator Valves, to be located in up to 10 different rooms. Therefore, if you want to have Netatmo Smart Radiator Valves in more than 10 rooms, we must have more than one thermostat.
Even if it’s technically possible to make an installation with Classe 300EOS with Netatmo (as server for lights, shutters,..) and Smarther with Netatmo (for the thermoregulation system), it will not be possible to have common scenes including both Smarther with Netatmo and Classe 300EOS with Netatmo. Together with this, it will not be possbile to manage Smarther with Netatmo features from the screen of Classe 300EOS with Netatmo.
To add one light/shutter into a system:Step 1: select a room where you want insert a new objectStep 2: press "+" to add an objectStep 3: select kind of object (light/shutter/thermostat..)Step 4: select type of object (On/Off Dimmer Colored...)Step 5: Associate devices: add actuator/output and local comands if it's presentStep 6: Save itAfter these steps an object association is done and saved.
Copy&Paste function is for the structure of the project, not for the configuration: it means that you will not copy the ID linked to the devices of the project and you will have to manage the configuration of the devices of this second project.
Before switching from heating to cooling mode, please ensure that your temperature regulation devices are compatible and that you performed all necessary manual actions related to this mode change.Switching your thermostat from heating to cooling mode is made through your temperature scheduling. In the Home + Control App, go to the settings and select "Schedules". On the temperature schedule screen, click on the name on top, then select "Cooling" tab. You can now create a new cooling schedule or activate one of your cooling schedules. Please note that switching from heating to cooling mode applies to all connected thermostats in your home.
We have defined the notifications that your installation will send to your smartphone in order to keep you informed about what is happening in your home when you are not there: "Low battery" invites you to replace your Netatmo Smart Radiator Valve batteries within a month. "Very Low battery" invites you to replace your Netatmo Smart Radiator Valve batteries as soon as possible. It is not possible to configure other alerts than those currently proposed in Home + Control App.
